Introduction: Antiresorptive preparations are group of medicaments, which are used for bone disease treatment in children and adult patients. They affect bone remodelation by blocking of osteoclasts activity, which are responsible for bone tissue resorption. Its affect is not only in final outcome but also during treatment as/because processes of osteogenesis and resorption are present in every orthodontic treatment Extractions, application of TAD´s or surgical correction of skeletal anomaly are frequent part of orthodontic treatment. Launched preparations rarely caused gravely healing bone wound with difficulty, exceptionally in form of osteonecrosis.

Content: Lecture presents overview of current knowledge about interaction of antiresorptive therapy in children and adult patients with orthodontic treatment.

Conclusion: Antiresorptive preparations improve life of patients in many indications by significant way.
